Nai Thon Beach

Nai Thon Beach is a great sized beach which is idyllic in the high season winter months with its crystal clear water and super soft sand. There’s local restaurants along the road with plenty of fruit stalls selling local produce at low prices. It’s a very convenient 10 minutes south of the airport, and whether you are approaching Nai Thon from the North or South of the island you are bound to be mesmerised with the scenic road that will lead you in. From the South you will wind along the coast road, cruising past some of the most expensive and exclusive real estate on the island with cliff views onto the crystal blue Andaman ocean, and from the North you will drive through local villages and beautiful lush green valleys.

Favourites Likes in Nai Thon : The new and very stylish Pullman hotel offers fabulous views over the bay and a good sunset cocktail. Also try taking one on the local long tail boats to the small rocky island just to the south which is a superb spot for snorkelling. It’s roped off, very safe, and you’ll see 1000’s of colourful fish the moment you enter the warm waters. Enjoy and don’t forget your waterproof camera if you have one!

Little known : Banana Beach, just South of Nai Thon heading toward the Laguna area, this little know dream beach gets its name from its shape. If you like solitude and soft sand make an effort to find this rare gem.
